Try searching the Archives at this site for this topic...Several Owner's at the Facebook Yamaha C3 Scooter Group have done this mod... A Bro, Lazy Polo in China has done a sweet job on a C3 Scooter he's also stretched the frame on...Gabe

Often, when a C3 Scooter's been sitting the battery will discharge some...And...Your Crank Position Sensor stops talking to your ECU...First Charge your battery fully, then, fill your tank with gas...Get a can of Carb cleaner with the plastic snout on it and prime your throttle body by spraying a 15...

Hello csonni... Our Scoot's EFI is Very sensitive to low battery voltage...Make sure your wiring from the starter to the solenoid to the battery to the alternator is clean and tight, then go ride her for 25 miles....And, see if she starts after an hour or so...If not most auto parts houses will test...

If you have a C3 Service Manual go to chapter 7 about the EFI...First, you need to determine which Fault Code your Scoot's trying to tell you about...To find out, turn your switch on and do nothing else...Your yellow light will flash a series of long and short flashes as it "Self Diagnoses"...

I run 130/90-10 Bridgestone ML-50 tires front and rear on my '07 C3 Scooter...the taller tire on front not only gives a smoother ride, it Also Corrects the Lying Speedo to where it runs with my gps plus or minus one half mph to 43mph indicated, when the speedo's on the peg adjacent to the Yamaha Tun...
