Finally!!! Steady Garage removed the rev limiter.

I have beenushing Steady Garage to make something to remove the rev limiter on the C3. Not long ago Steady Garage released an unlimited rev CDI for the C3. Completely plug and play.

I will be buying one as soon as I can. Will work great with the fuel controller. And breaking 50 on stock gears will be awesome. Topping out at 48 is real frustrating.

Haha. That's awesome Ben. Make sure you have a tach. Let me know what you think. I'm ordering a gold one on Friday.

Tach will be nice just in case you push it too far, No one knows how many rpm the engine will take without detonating. I would be real careful on the downhill runs.

Hey could one of you provide a bit more explanation about these things, specifically how they "plug and play?" I'm not very familiar with the electronics on the C3, so I'm confused how this thing bolts in physically...

Does it replace the ECU? Does it plug into the ECU and the ECU stays onboard? How would a performance fuel injector controller integrate?

Also, what sort of side effects might there be, somewhere else I thought Gabe mentioned something like "valve floating" something something. As advised, you'd want a tach, and observe some sort of "red line," but how much higher than the stock rev limited should the red line be?

I apologize if that's too many noob questions, thanks in advance!
