Hello fellow C3 riders,

I have had my C3 for a good 4 months now, and in that time I have put over 5000 miles on it.

I bought a 2007 blue c3 with 2k miles on it for 1200 back in june. In my opinion a way better scooter than the ruckus.

I bought the c3 because of the 3 valve and fuel injection, and I have fallen more and more in love every time i ride it.

Image

My setup

FMF exhaust
Kenda 140 on rear, Pirelli 130 up front.
4 gram sliders, white contra spring, stock variator.
Clubman bars
modified front fender

I am looking to order a fuel controller this week. Right now with the large rear tire I am hitting 44-45 mph, but I still need to fine tune the cvt. With the exhaust I had to keep the airbox stock to keep within the efi parameters, so hopefully the fuel controller will get me some more top speed.

Ill get more pictures up soon. Thanks for looking.

44-45 on the speedo is 39-40 real mph.

The 130 on the front has seemed to mostly correct the optimism in the speedo. going 40 on speedo is 39/40 on the gps. On flats I get it to 44, sometimes 45. Been confirmed by multiple gps units. I ride with a lot of ruckus folks, and now my C3 has more acceleration, and more top end. And I never worry about it not running "right" : )

How is your takeoff with those huge tires?

I did lose a little bit of acceleration, but with 4gram sliders and a white contra spring I was happy with the acceleration, and real happy with the gain in top speed. I honestly got the tires in anticipation for my fuel controller I will be ordering soon, otherwise I probably would have gotten a 130 for the rear.

Compared to most ruckus', on that setup I had a little better acceleration and kept a lead all the way to the rev limiter. And those are modified ruckus I'm comparing. If its a stock ruckus, they got nothing on the C3. ^^

Awesome, I have to agree with you about the rucks. One of my friends thought his modified ruck was the cats meow til he rode my c3. haha.

Haha. Yeah, my buddy is all about the ruckus, but has fallen in love with the C3. Everyone that rides it comes back with the biggest smile on their face.

My friend calls the C3 the Cadillac of 50cc scooters. :D

Just painted the C3, and shaved the seat down and rewrapped it.

Do you have anything left of the rear fender? I will be chopping mine this weekend and don't know how far to go. Also is that the factory front fender chopped as well? The paint looks good!
